Taulia Provides Dynamic Discounting Platform to Northgate Information Solutions

Earlier this week, dynamic discounting platform, Taulia announced a partnership with Northgate Information Solutions.

Through the partnership, Taulia will provide self-service capabilities to Northgate’s supplier base, including:

    • E-invoicing
    • Full automation of purchase-to-pay processes
    • Comprehensive visibility into the invoice process

To accomodate Northgate’s global supplier base, Taulia’s platform integrates with Northgate’s SAP ERP system to enable invoice compliance across country borders. This allows Northgate to provide the same level of extensive functionality, automation and visibility to its vendors regardless of their country.

Tradeshift to Offer Taulia’s Dynamic Discounting

Last week, online invoicing company Tradeshift, and dynamic discounting platform, Taulia, announced a partnership aimed to ease the invoicing process for both buyers and sellers.

The partnership will enable businesses of all sizes to manage e-invoicing and Dynamic Discounting through a single platform.

Taulia CEO, Bertram Meyer, states:

“This alliance with Tradeshift is exciting, as it brings their excellent supplier facing solutions, as well as our best-in-class dynamic discounting right into SAP, and allows a richer, real, right-now solution for SAP users while extending savings and benefits to Tradeshift’s customer network.”

Finovate Alums Take the Stage at the Future of Money Conference 2012

Earlier this week, we attended the Future of Money conference in San Francisco. Over 20 Finovate Alumni companies were represented in the audience, and many of them presented or were included on panels.

During the conference, we gathered tidbits from some of the companies. Here are a few highlights:

Personal Capital

Bill Harris, CEO, (pictured below) spoke about how wealth management needs to be more virtual, secure, and personal. He provided some stats

Mike Alfred, Co-founder and CEO, (pictured right) commented on BrightScope’s role in the advisor business:

    • The platform is free for suppliers
    • It sells connectivity to buyers as a SAAS platform to connect with supply chain

    • Skews towards users in their 20s and 30s
    • Half male, half female
    • Middle to upper-middle class
    • Average income ranges from $75,000 to $125,000
