How they describe themselves: Our bank has grown from the 10 people starting it in the winter of 2015 to about 50 passionate and driven employees at the current time.
It was started by three people with extensive banking experience with the wish of creating a better bank for the consumers, a technologically driven fully digital bank that would always offer the state of the art technology, products and customer experience. We want to redefine retail banking with a strong focus on user experience.
We are present in six countries, and planning to launch in Sweden this year. Hopefully a demo and showcase at FinovateEurope can help us bring digital banking and payment innovation to the rest of Europe.
How they describe their product/innovation: We will demo the app Mono Pay connected to our credit card Monocard. The app is already available for IOS and android.
In short it’s a credit card and payment platform with functionality not seen combined in an app before- called a game changer in the Norwegian press.
In addition to a cashback system it puts the user in complete control over usage, receipts, budget of spending over a certain period or within a certain category of goods, or even merchants or type of merchant. All available to be filtered down to a specific period in time, country, currency or amount.
You can postpone payments with a live quote of cost. You can ad tags and receipts to each transactions and the OCR engine will even search the text within the receipt.
