How they describe themselves: Yoyo is a mobile platform that seamlessly blends payments,
loyalty, and discovery – done right. Our mission is to build an intuitive platform that creates better relationships between retailers and consumers. We are winning the UK University space. Yoyo is currently live at 10 major UK Universities and has a presence at corporate head offices and the high street. Yoyo recently signed an agreement with Tony Fernandes’s Tune Group in Asia – the first step of our international expansion.
How they describe their product/innovation: Yoyo integrates into the retailer’s till system and uses a unique QR code for each transaction, which is scanned at the point of sale. For consumers, it’s a quick and easy way to pay and get rewarded. For retailers, Yoyo provides a set of tools, which
enable them to better target their customers with relevant rewards, offers, and incentives.
We recently launched V3 of the Yoyo app and we are constantly introducing new product features, with social gifting, digitalised receipts, and card to mobile being the most recent additions.
