How they describe themselves: Lokky is the first Italian digital insurance broker focusing exclusively on micro-enterprises, professionals and freelancers. The team is composed by a well-diversified team of around 10 people, with experience in financial services, digital marketing and data science.
Starting operations in December 2018, Lokky attracted more than 1 Mln € funding and it was able to close partnerships with several International and Italian carriers to tailor their products and distribute them online.
How they describe their product/innovation: Lokky introduced the first fully digital experience for a business insurance product in Italy, together with the proprietary Lokky Algorithm which covers:
1) Customer profiling: based on very few questions (…and a lot of real time data enrichment) the Lokky Algorithm identifies the specific insurance needs.
2) Product Customization: the Lokky Algorithm designs a fully personalized package in terms of: i) products included (also multi-carriers), ii) specific coverages and sub-coverages, iii) insured amounts and deductibles.
