Yubi Launches Multi-Lender Platform Pye
  • India-based debt platform Yubi unveiled a new lending platform for retail borrowers called Pye.
  • Pye works by connecting borrower applications to Yubi’s network of lending partners, helping borrowers find the financing that best suits their needs and timeframe.
  • Yubi made its Finovate debut at FinovateSpring 2026 in San Diego. The company has facilitated over ₹3.2 lakh crore ($37.4 billion) in credit and 3.5 crore (35 million) transactions.

Indian debt platform Yubi has launched Pye, a new lending platform designed for retail borrowers. The platform leverages Yubi’s lender network to route borrower applications to multiple lending partners at once, matching borrower profiles to the lending partner best suited for their financing needs, loan type, and timeline. Via a single integration, Pye enables retail borrowers to connect with approximately 80% of India’s top lending institutions.

“Every lender has its own view of risk, its own criteria for ticket size, documentation, and timing, shaped by its own mandate,” Yubi Group Founder and CEO Gaurav Kumar said. “That’s the nature of a healthy lending market. It also means the right partner for a borrower isn’t always the first one they approach. Pye is built to help a borrower find that fit faster, matching them to the right lenders across our network, instead of going door to door. The compliance and legal work, KYC, documentation, disclosures, happens once on Pye, so a borrower isn’t repeating paperwork with every application. We open these avenues while being fully compliant with RBI’s digital lending guidelines such as neutral display of offers, full disclosure on APR, and ensuring native journeys for seamless customer experience.”

Every lender on Pye is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Borrowers are shown pricing and terms before accepting financing, and their data is shared only with the lenders they choose to apply to.

Yubi’s latest offering arrives as India’s retail credit market continues to expand. Before fiscal 2026 ended, CRISIL Intelligence, a division of Indian analytics, research, and risk solutions firm CRISIL Limited, projected retail loan growth of 17% to 18% for the year. However, India’s household debt-to-GDP ratios stood at 45.5% as of September 2025, well below markets with greater credit penetration such as South Korea, with an 89% household debt-to-GDP ratio. Together, these figures suggest substantial room for growth in the Indian retail credit market and the potential to expand financial inclusion by increasing access to credit.

“Credit access works best when it is broad-based, transparent, and well matched to the borrowers’ needs,” Yubi Group independent director and NPCI non-executive chairman Ajay Kumar Choudhary said. “Initiatives that bring technology and multiple regulated lenders together, like Pye, are a welcome step for India’s financial inclusion agenda.”

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Lewes, Delaware, Yubi made its Finovate debut at FinovateSpring 2026. At the conference, the company demonstrated its corporate and business debt solutions, including its end-to-end platform for loan origination systems (LOS), loan management systems (LMS), and collections. Backed by investors including Peak XV, Insight Partners, Lightspeed, B Capital Group, Dragoneer, and TVS Capital, Yubi has facilitated ₹3.2 lakh crore (approximately $37.4 billion) in credit and 3.5 crore (35 million) transactions. The company serves more than 17,000 enterprises and 6,200+ investors and lenders while reducing collections costs by 57%.
