FinGoal and DeepTarget Team Up to Transform Data into Insights and Insights into Revenue

FinGoal and DeepTarget Team Up to Transform Data into Insights and Insights into Revenue
  • FinGoal and DeepTarget have teamed up to enable community banks and credit unions to convert transaction data into actionable insights.
  • FinGoal for DeepTarget will help financial institutions deliver personalization at scale, identify new sales opportunities, and deepen relationships with customers and members.
  • DeepTarget made its Finovate debut at FinovateWest 2020. FinGoal won Best of Show in its appearance at FinovateSpring 2022.

A newly announced partnership between FinGoal and DeepTarget will help community banks and credit unions convert transaction data into actionable insights and potential revenue opportunities. FinGoal’s advanced transaction analysis combined with DeepTarget’s AI-powered, personalized engagement platform will enable financial institutions to create highly personalized product recommendations and offers that are targeted to reach the right customers at the right time.

Called FinGoal for DeepTarget, the new offering turns raw transactions into revenue opportunities, delivers deep personalization at scale, automates the targeting and personalization process, and provides continuous tracking of performance metrics to improve targeting and refine campaign effectiveness.

“Banks and credit unions know they need to compete on personalization, but they’ve been missing the tools to do it effectively,” FinGoal CEO David Nohe said. “Our partnership with DeepTarget bridges that gap. We turn complex transaction data into clear growth opportunities with existing customers, and DeepTarget turns those insights into targeted campaigns that drive results. Together, we’re helping financial institutions deliver the kind of personalized experience that builds lasting customer relationships and sustainable growth.”

The partnership is designed to help community banks and credit unions take advantage of what DeepTarget CEO Preetha Pulusani referred to as a “goldmine of transaction data.” Traditionally, financial institutions have lacked the resources to analyze customer spending patterns and life events that can hold clues to emerging consumer needs and preferences. Moreover, these institutions often have struggled to act effectively and efficiently on the customer information and data they have been able to analyze. Solving this problem will enable community banks and credit unions to reach out to a customer who may need financial assistance for a home improvement, for example, or identify a small business owner whose cash flow indicates a potential for significant expansion.

“By combining FinGoal’s advanced transaction intelligence with our AI-driven engagement platform, we’re giving banks and credit unions the power to spot opportunities in everyday transactions and automatically turn those insights into personalized offers that drive real revenue growth,” Pulusani said. “This isn’t just about better marketing — it’s about fundamentally transforming how financial institutions understand and serve their customers.”

Headquartered in Madison, Alabama, DeepTarget made its Finovate debut at our all-digital fintech conference FinovateWest 2020. At the event, the company demonstrated its 3D StoryTeller feature, which brings a 3D user experience to its Digital Experience Platform. DeepTarget’s Digital Experience Platform readily integrates across all digital channels enabling financial institutions to intelligently reach their customers from thousands of customer touchpoints. Companies using DeepTarget’s technology have reported 40x increases over industry standard response rates, 25% revenue growth, and ROI of as much as 5x.

FinGoal won Best of Show at FinovateSpring 2022 for its Aggregator Switchkit that makes it easy for fintech developers to quickly transition from their current data aggregator to FinGoal’s insights platform. FinGoal’s platform sits on top of digital banking and finance data, turning transaction data into highly detailed user personas that help financial institutions make more relevant and engaging recommendations and calls to action for their customers and members.

FinGoal’s partnership with DeepTarget comes one month after the company announced that it was working with Lumin Digital. Courtesy of the agreement, Lumin Digital’s financial institution clients will be able to access data-driven insights from FinGoal to create personalized offers for their end users.

DeepTarget Unveils AI-Powered Email Service AImail

DeepTarget Unveils AI-Powered Email Service AImail
  • DeepTarget, a digital marketing services provider for financial institutions, has launched its AI-powered email service AImail.
  • The new offering empowers community banks and credit unions with enterprise-level marketing capabilities to enable them to deliver personalized communications at scale.
  • DeepTarget made its Finovate debut at our all-digital conference FinovateWest 2020. The company is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama.

DeepTarget unveiled its AI-powered email service, AImail, this week. The technology is a full-service solution that provides credit unions and community banks with enterprise-level marketing services to deliver personalized communications at scale.

In a statement, the company highlighted the fact that email remains an important channel of communications between financial institutions and their customers. Email remains the most cost-effective channel for most FIs, helping them reach account holders who may not frequent a brick-and-mortar branch or take advantage of digital banking. At the same time, many community banks and credit unions have struggled to maximize email as a communications channel due to resource challenges, regulatory issues, or inadequate data analysis capabilities.

“While new channels emerge constantly, email remains the most universal and trusted way to reach account holders,” DeepTarget CEO Preetha Pulusani said. “Nearly every adult with a bank account has an email address, and not all of them visit branches or use digital banking. They expect to receive important financial communications through this channel.”

To this end, AImail combines AI technology with deep financial services expertise in the form of fractional digital marketing experts. This enables AImail to deliver compliant personalization and regulator-friendly content, as well as targeted optimization to ensure that marketing campaigns reach the best audiences for maximum impact. AImail embeds banner ads in each email campaign that use GenAI images and messages created by DeepTarget’s ADbuzz technology to enhance engagement. The solution streamlines marketing campaigns, boosting email engagement rates by up to 3x, and provides valuable metrics including built-in ROI tracking and reporting.

“What makes AImail revolutionary is its ability to transform these routine touchpoints into meaningful, personalized conversations that drive engagement and growth,” Pulusani said. “What used to take marketing teams weeks to accomplish now happens with our experts using AImail on behalf of financial institutions, with robust results and strong compliance controls.”

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, DeepTarget made its Finovate debut at our all-digital conference, FinovateWest2020. At the event, the company demonstrated its 3DStoryTeller solution. 3DStoryTeller blends the intelligence and capabilities of the company’s Digital Experience Platform with a 3D user interface that enables financial institutions to offer a unique experience featuring visual stories that engage and entertain customers.

DeepTarget Helps Banks and Credit Unions Personalize Customer Communications

DeepTarget Helps Banks and Credit Unions Personalize Customer Communications
  • Financial services digital marketing innovator DeepTarget has launched its 3D Story on the Go product extension to its Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
  • The new solution enables banks and credit unions to add immersive and adaptive user experiences to email, SMS, and social media marketing campaigns.
  • Alabama-based DeepTarget made its Finovate debut at FinovateWest 2020.

DeepTarget has unveiled the new 3D Story On the Go product extension to its Digital Experience Platform (DXP). The new addition leverages consumer and business intelligence, as well as AI, to help banks and credit unions personalize customer communications and launch more effective marketing campaigns via email, SMS, and social media.

“Today’s consumers are digital users first and expect their financial institutions to deliver seamless, personalized, relevant experiences,” DeepTarget CEO Preetha Pulusani said. “As much as personalization is a growing expectation for consumers, achieving it is a growing challenge for many financial institutions, especially in understanding how and when to leverage consumer data.”

DeepTarget’s 3D Story On the Go enables banks and credit unions to boost engagement through some of the most widely-used channels by creating immersive and adaptive, prismatic user experiences. These AI-powered and insights-based, visually appealing experiences can be used for onboarding new customers, sending personalized offers and promotions, product announcements, and more. Crane Credit Union VP of Marketing Michael Hostetler highlighted the way DeepTarget’s technology has brought additional value to its email marketing efforts. “We use email extensively to communicate with our members based on DeepTarget’s AI-based predictive campaigns,” Hostetler said. “With 3D Story On the Go, it will be great to easily deliver a new, elevated level of AI-based personalized experience to our members.”

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, DeepTarget made its Finovate debut at FinovateWest in 2020. At the event, the company demoed its 3D StoryTeller solution which brings an innovative, 3D user experience to DeepTarget’s Digital Experience Platform. The new offering helps financial institutions take advantage of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.

The introduction of 3D Story On the Go comes weeks after DeepTarget announced that MDT Credit Union, a credit union service organization (CUSO), would offer the DeepTarget integration into the Banno Digital Platform to its credit union customers. MDT President and CEO Larry Nichols underscored the importance of the digital experience to credit unions and their members, noting that DeepTarget’s technology helps them “maintain their differentiators – human connection, empathy, and exceptional service – within the digital network.”
