How they describe themselves: KioWare first shipped in 2004, and as kiosk system software is the foundation upon which a self-service kiosk is created. The financial and retail sectors are our largest markets. Our headquarters are in the US, and we have a sales and support office in the UK. With clients in over 130 countries, we partner with over 100 kiosk manufacturers, integrators, solution providers and software distributors around the world.
How they describe their product/innovation: KioTouch is our solution for a purely software based touchless kiosk environment. It enables new and existing deployed kiosks to be converted to touchless operation without expensive hardware retrofit. It uses a cloud based web service to enable a kiosk user to scan a QR code on the kiosk which turns their mobile device into a remote mouse touchpad that they use to control the kiosk without touching the kiosk screen.
