The novel format includes main stage speaking, expo presence, media exposure, and more. This provides a proven platform for organizations to achieve the next level of success — unlike other events, our 360 degree approach means attendees vie for demo companies’ attention, not the other way around.
Format
It’s simple! Only demos. No shorthand pitches, no slides, and no videos allowed. A live demo is the best way to show your potential buyers, partners, and investors how your tech can benefit them.

Selection Criteria
Finovate conferences are open to startup, established, and public companies with new financial services technology. This results in a highly competitive selection process. Hundreds of inquiries and applications are reviewed when selecting the demo lineup.
While you may be contacted for more information, most companies are chosen based solely on their application.
- Development: Is the technology new or with material developments? Do you have a substantial announcement about expanding your technology’s reach or focus?
- Originality: Is the approach original and innovative? How big of a technological/logical leap does it make? Does it break boundaries or go beyond the norm?
- Potential: What is the potential to make an impact? Disrupt the market? Open a new stream of innovation?
- Diversity: Is the technology in a lesser-known space? What’s special about your technology in a crowded space? Demo lineups cover a range fintech/finserv/techfin. Even in trending areas, we’re always looking for companies who stand out.
Demo Pricing
If your company is selected to demo, the demo fee depends on application date (two deadlines per event) and the company’s business category selected in the online application. See the “Events” dropdown menu above for specific pricing for each event.
Business Category*
- A: Less than $7M in total equity funding
- B: $7M+ to $16M in total equity funding
- C: $16M+ to $25M in total equity funding
- D: $25M+ to $40M in total equity funding
- E: $40M+ in total equity funding or any company that is publicly listed on any stock exchange
*Note: If your company is bootstrapped or has otherwise not raised any funding, choose the business category that matches your annual revenue. I.e., if your annual revenue is $10M, you would select category B.
Demo Package
- A seven-minute demo slot on the general session main stage on the demo day(s).
- On the same day as the demo, a demo stand in the exhibition area during the event hours (includes table, logo sign, monitor, power, Internet, and lead scanning access).
- Event platform and networking access to schedule meetings with attendees.
- Lead data for onsite attendees in the auditorium during the demo and scanned at the demo stand.
- Lead data for digital attendee event platform engagement.
- Before the event, a list of attending media and analysts.
- Before the event, a list of attendees’ titles and organizations.
- Two speaker admissions to the event.
- The ability to buy up to six tickets at a 50% discount on the current ticket price for team members, key partners, customers, investors and other VIPs.
- The ability to share a 20% ticket discount on the current ticket price with the company’s network.
- 30-minute one-on-one coaching for demo skills and format with Greg Palmer.
- 10-minute demo rehearsal at the venue with full audio-visual setup before the event.
- Promotional mentions on the Finovate blog and marketing emails with exposure to the thousands of subscribers and monthly visitors.
- A full-page profile with contact details for the the company in the digital event booklet.
- A professionally recorded and edited demo video for company use.
- A static profile with the demo video in the Finovate.com video archives for at least one year.
- Company and speaker profiles on the event website.
- Blog coverage of noteworthy news submitted by the company and as determined by Finovate analysts after the event.
