How they describe themselves: Monitise Americas is a new venture delivered by Metavante Inc in association with Monitise plc, the global leader in the provision of mobile banking services. Due to launch to consumers during the Fall of 2007, the service replicates the simple interface of an ATM in a secure, trusted application.
Monitise has already set the global benchmark for mobile banking and payments through its UK service, MONILINK, which provides cross-financial institution and cross-mobile carrier services in the United Kingdom.
