Expensify, the startup behind the expense reporting process that "doesn't suck," reported a few updates yesterday.

Here are some highlights:

1) The new NetSuite integration enables users to import their categories and employees, export reports, and more.

NetSuite.jpg

2) The new Stripe integration allows users to accept credit card payments through Expensify's invoicing platform. Uses can enable this feature in their policy settings (see below):

Here's what the client sees, when prompted to pay the invoice via Stripe:

3) Expensify raised the maximum reimbursable amount on expense reports that are repaid via direct deposit. Now users can reimburse up to $20k per expense report via direct deposit, and can request exceptions for larger amounts on a case-by-case basis.

What's next? Expensify is working on a major overhaul with QuickBooks and should have updates soon.

Expense report management platform, Expensify, announced today that it has added Bitcoin as a reimbursement option for expense reports.

According to the announcement in its blog post, the San Francisco-based company hopes that this will benefit companies that regularly reimburse international employees and contractors. In addition to cutting back on hefty international currency transfer fees of up to 4%, Bitcoin transactions avoid ACH rails, so they are instant.

ExpensifyBitcoin.jpg

In a press release, Expensify founder and CEO, David Barrett, stated that Bitcoin is the perfect solution for the increasing number of companies that need cross-currency reimbursement solutions.

With a battle cry of "save time, money and trees" the Paperless Coalition has launched its campaign to promote a paper-free workplace.

Among the members of the Paperless Coalition are three Finovate Alumni: Xero, Manilla and Expensify. The Coalition is led by HelloFax, and has set-up a website, paperless2013.org where businesses can "take the pledge" to work toward using less paper - and sign up for the coalition's monthly newsletter.

According to Reduce.org, the average office worker consumes more than 10,000 sheets of paper every day. More than three million tons of office paper are used in the United States alone every year.

Also participating in the Coalition is Google via Google Drive.
