Screen Shot 2016-08-15 at 5.03.07 PMSocial media compliance company Actiance today announced it has appointed Anthony West (pictured) as CTO.

Prior to accepting the new position, West worked at Credit Suisse for more than 20 years where he oversaw all communications, collaboration, and electronic communications-compliance infrastructure services. He is now regarded as an “enterprise collaboration technology strategist,” and specializes in real-time communications platforms.

Actiance also brought on Neil Senior as VP of customer success. Prior to joining Actiance, Senior held roles at AVID Technology, EMC Corporation, and RSA. In his new role, Senior is responsible for “overseeing all professional services and customer-support teams as well as expanding service offerings to meet customer needs.”

The new appointments come two months after the company brought on Naresh Bansal as CFO.

Last month Actiance launched support to help bank clients compliantly engage customers and employees on Instagram. Founded in 1998, the company last presented at FinovateFall 2012 where it debuted Socialite. Actiance has raised almost $44 million from 7 investors since launching in 1998.

Actiance Now Supports Compliance for Instagram

Actiance Now Supports Compliance for Instagram

Now that Instagram has launched separate profiles for businesses, social network-compliance company Actiance has stepped in to help banks engage in their own Instagram accounts in a compliant way.

The California-based company expanded Actiance Socialite to help banks and other companies monitor account activity, archive posts, and generate analytics from the post-image engagement and comments. Because business activity on Instagram is classified as advertisements, and comments are considered business records, a company’s Instagram posts are subject to regulatory scrutiny. Socialite helps banks retain data and instantly search and retrieve posts and images if necessary.

Joanna Belbey, social media and compliance specialist at Actiance, said, “Forward-thinking companies are increasingly using Instagram and other social channels to connect with digital audiences … . Actiance Socialite makes it easy for companies to support new channels, such as Instagram, as they enter the enterprise and make the most of their communications data for both regulatory and business purposes.”

Actiance helps banks and financial institutions manage, secure, and ensure compliance across applications and social media platforms. The company last presented at FinovateFall 2012 where it debuted Socialite. Actiance has raised almost $44 million from 7 investors since launching in 1998. Earlier this year the company brought on Naresh Bansal as its new CFO.

Actiance Brings on Naresh Bansal as New CFO

Actiance Brings on Naresh Bansal as New CFO

ActianceHomepage

BansalCommunications compliance and analytics company Actiance has appointed Naresh Bansal as its new chief financial officer. Bansal is stepping in for Tim Conley, the company’s former CFO, who left to pursue a career as a consultant.

Bansal’s impressive pedigree includes 20 years of financial management for both public and private firms; 10 years of those leadership positions were within software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies. Bansal most recently served as VP of finance for Zscaler, a cloud-based security company.

In a press release, the company notes Bansal’s success in “building teams, creating processes, and taking companies through the IPO process.” Actiance CEO Kailash Ambwani says, “Naresh will play a critical role as we continue to map out strategies for long-term growth and augment our financial structure to support fiscal management, profitability, and success. His experience as an operational CFO for highly successful companies will be invaluable to us. More importantly, he knows SaaS inside and out, and has successfully scaled operations at companies in our exact growth stage.”

Since launching in 1998, the company has raised $43.6 million in three funding rounds. At FinovateFall 2012 Actiance debuted Socialitea tool that helps banks stay compliant while using social media. Earlier this month, the company unveiled a cloud-based platform to help healthcare and pharmaceutical companies comply with security and privacy regulations.
